Shark Encounter

Included in your Shark Encounter:
15-minute shark encounter in our plexi-glass shark cage.
Food to feed the sharks. (However there is no guarantee the sharks will eat.)
A locker to store your personal belongings.
A mask and a wet suit.
A guide who will descend with you.
Shower and Towel after the encounter.
Entrance fee into the Interactive Aquarium.

Now in the heart of the hotel zone you can have an unforgettable shark encounter!

Don one of our wet suits against the 70-degree water (21 Celsius) and listen to the whine of the wench as you are lowered into the huge tank with man-eating Bull Sharks, and the less aggressive Nurse Sharks. The water rushes in around your feet. Your heart pounds, as the water level settles at your chest and you begin to wonder, "What am I doing here?" Then out of the blue the sharks begin to circle the cage in anticipation of the fish or squid that you have as an offering. Your shark encounter begins…

Swim for 15 minutes with the sharks in our plexi-glass shark cage big enough for 3 people.
Food for the sharks is included, however we cannot guarantee the sharks will eat.

Due to the popularity of this program we recommend that you make your reservation as far in advance as possible.
Do not wait until you arrive in Cancun or you will probably not get to have a Shark Encounter.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to temperamental nature of sharks in captivity this activity is subject to cancellation by the Aquarium Personnel at any time up to and including when you are in the shark cage. You will receive a 100% refund in the event of a cancellation by the Aquarium Personnel.
